The team will travel away for the clash this Saturday, to start at 6pm, with a few injury concerns but plenty of promise from their close loss to Tamworth last weekend.
“We’re looking reasonably good. We have a few illness and injury concerns, like Brad Barnett with glandular fever, and Lance Guild has a torn shoulder muscle,” he said.
“In saying that, Josh Kelly should be back in the squad this weekend after missing a few games.”
Champion was pleased with the performance against Tamworth, which saw them narrowly lose 87-77, and said they will take a lot from it.
“Our performance against Tamworth was really promising, and they’re a tougher squad than Central Coast in my opinion,” he said.
“We won’t be taking the game lightly at all, but we do think we are in with a good chance.”
