The NRMA’s Bowser Buster ranks the weekly average unleaded petrol and diesel prices for over 50 locations in NSW and including Canberra from cheapest to most expensive.
The average price of diesel in Port Macquarie for the week ending March 19 was 136.2.
Port Macquarie was ranked at position 55 while for the week ending March 12 it was at position 53.
It was cheaper to fill up with diesel in Wauchope which had an average price of 130.6 and was placed at position 31.
Temora was the cheapest place to fill up with diesel with an average price of 125.8.
Gundagai was placed at position 57 and the most expensive for diesel with an average price of 136.9.
For unleaded petrol Port Macquarie had an average price of 135.9 and was placed at 32 out of 57 places.
Wauchope was more expensive than Port Macquarie and was ranked at position 35 with an average price of 136.
Maitland was the cheapest place for motorists to fill up with unleaded petrol with an average price of 118.7.
Yass was the most expensive place to fill up with an average price of 142.9.
