NSW CEO David Thompson, Hockey NSW Player Athlete Manager Richard Willis and Hockey NSW Player Participation Manger will all be in attendance.
Hockey has almost doubled in numbers from about four years ago, and the Port Macquarie Hockey Association would like to hit 900 members in season 2017.
The day is this Saturday, March 25, and will run from 10.30am to 12.00pm at the hockey fields.
All new registrants under 11 years of age will get a $30 sports shop gift voucher to go towards the purchase of new equipment, and while primarily aimed at juniors up to the age of 16, the day is open to all people of all ages that might want to have a hit and try hockey.
The new season starts on Saturday, April 29. Visit www.portmacquariehockey.com.au for more information.
