He will be at Cassegrains Winery as the Port Macquarie community continues to aid the relationship between the town and Lord Howe Island.
Farr-Jones said he had a lot in common with both Port Macquarie and the island.
“My grandfather was the first banker on the island and I’ve always enjoyed my time both there and in Port Macquarie,” he said.
“I haven’t been up there (Port Macquarie) for seven or eight years, but Pete Besseling is a good mate of mine and it will be good to get back up there again.”
Farr-Jones was looking forward to spending some time in the area.
“These sorts of lunches are great to go to because you get to network,” he said.
“And I have the added bonus of not having to race off to kids sport on the Saturday.”
Lord Howe’s rugby team are shooting for an appearance at the Phuket International rugby 10s in May.
The fundraiser starts at midday.
