Woodside raises payout on profit surge

The rebound in oil - and gas - prices helped to propel Woodside Petroleum's earnings sharply higher in 2016 as it looks to higher output in the year ahead to maintain the growth momentum, pointing in particular to the prospect of boosting output at Pluto which could drive the emergence of a hub at the onshore processing plant with a move to boost throughput.
