A MAN died at the scene of a two car accident on the Pacific Highway at Moorland on Sunday (February 19).

About 4.15pm, police were called to the Pacific Highway, Moorland, north of Taree, after a southbound Toyota Echo and a northbound Toyota Tarago, which was towing a boat, collided.
Police from Manning/Great Lakes LAC attended and established a crime scene.
The driver of the Echo, a male, died at the scene.
The male driver and female front seat passenger, as well as their four children, were taken to Port Macquarie Hospital for treatment to minor injuries.
Traffic is delayed at the scene.
Police are urging drivers in the area to take care, with heavy rain and a large amount of water on the road.
Officers have attended several reports throughout the day of vehicles leaving the road as a result of the conditions.
