The fun run on February 19 had a serious side to it as its purpose was to raise awareness of the condition Neurofibromatosis (NF) and raise funds for the Children’s Tumour Foundation.
Port Macquarie resident Peter Kirkpatrick organised the event. His nine-year-old daughter Emily was diagnosed with NF1 when she was 10-months-old.
Mr Kirkpatrick said he was ecstatic with the turnout for this year’s event and is planning on making 2018 bigger.
The event has raised over $2,800 for the Children’s Tumour Foundation. To donate visit https://give.everydayhero.com/au/cupid-s-undie-run-port-macquarie
