This involves traffic signals on the eastbound leg of the roundabout and building slip lanes in and out of Wrights Road.
A Roads and Maritime Services spokesperson said a red light will stop traffic on the Oxley Highway when it queues past a certain point on John Oxley Drive. A yellow flashing light will then allow the Oxley Highway traffic to enter the roundabout.
These vehicles will cause a gap allowing traffic coming from Wrights Road and John Oxley Drive to enter the roundabout. Work started in May on the $3 million project and is expected to be completed soon.
