Vice-president Andrew Lister said most of the teams performed well, with the under-15 boys qualifying for the grand final alongside the under-15 girls.
The under-15 boys finished at the top of their pool.
“It has been a really good event for us as a club,” Lister said.
“We split the talent evenly across all of our teams and we had a few finals to show for our efforts.”
While the emphasis was on development and not results, Lister was blown away by how successful the club competed.
“It’s an opportunity for the coaches to see what kids are available and what they can do before we name our representative sides for next weekend,” he said.
“The objective wasn’t on winning, but it was great to see our teams in the finals.”
Nathaniel Fox was a star on Saturday in Port Macquarie’s win over the Coffs Harbour Suns.
“He played a fairly big role in that match, but there were a lot of other players who performed well too,” Lister said.
