These organisations have helped mum Donna Liver to manage daily life with her son Finn Munro, who was diagnosed with SMA at the age of two.
For one night only, The Players Theatre performance of Sweet Charity will be given over for a special event with canapes and drink on arrival, raffle prizes, sweet surprises at interval and of course, the fabulous musical.
The performance on November 12, at 8pm will cost $60 per ticket with proceeds going to the organisations who have helped the Munro family along their quest to make their son Finn’s dream to “hop, skip and jump” a reality.
It is seven years since Finn’s diagnosis and his needs, hopes and dreams are growing.
The Spinal Muscular Atrophy Association of Australia have provided Finn with a portable spa, ipad, travel scoot and more recently a cough assist machine that helps him increase his lung capacity.
In December, Finn will attend a Camp Kula N' Gadu in Narrabeen which has been organised by Muscular Dystrophy NSW.
“It’s great to give back to those who have supported us along the way,” Ms Liver said.
“There is so much more that we can do as individuals and as a community, and hosting and supporting this charity event is just the beginning.”
Tickets are available from the Glasshouse on 6581 8888 or call Donna on 0408 304 151.
