The National Your Health Link Photographic Competition has been organised by the Mid North Coast Local Health District (MNCLHD) and is offering over $45,000 in prizes.
The program is endorsed by the NSW Office of Preventive Health and the NSW Healthy Kids Association.
Its focus is to increase health literacy through the medium of photography, where community members are invited to actively participate in creating visual images that represent the subject matter.
The competition has four categories for primary schools, high schools, mobile phones and open for ages 18-years-old and above.
It is open to all Australian residents.
The competition will promote and support the provision of healthy food environments at schools.
Those who enter the mobile or the open category are required to pay a $10 entry fee which will help vital medical programs run by the MNCLHD.
Entries close November 1. For more information visit www.yourhealthlinkphotocomp.com.au
