A documentary was shown on food sustainability, and organiser Deborah Doyle said it sparked discussion on the topics of sustainable or regenerative farming and food producers.
Organisations including Farm Gate Tour, Farmers and Artist market , OxHill Organics, Hastings Cooperative and Sustainability House attended.
Ms Doyle said the discussion demonstrated there was a growing awareness for sustainability in the local area.
There were some requests on the night for future initiatives including starting food gardens in small spaces, renting small plots of land and putting people in touch with food producers.
