The Rotary Club of Wauchope promises a main pavilion at Wauchope Showground filled with quality books in both adult and children's fiction and non-fiction categories.
In 2016, Wauchope Rotary donated all proceeds from its Book Sale to local primary schools to support literacy programs.
This year’s Book Sale will begin on Thursday 20 October at 12 noon and will run for four days. Opening times are: Thursday: 12-5pm. Friday:10am-5pm. Saturday:8am-5pm. Sunday:10am-1pm.
Any book donations can be delivered to the pavilion during book sale times.
The Rotary Club of Wauchope is proud to be sharing one of their significant annual events with the Hastings Co-operative during their centenary celebrations.
As part of the Co-operative's Community Day on Saturday 22 October, they have organised a cooking demonstration to be held in the Pavilion. It all adds up to great books and bargains by Rotary, and delightful tastes and smells courtesy of the Hastings Co-operative.
President of Wauchope Rotary, Kathryn Stephens says the funds raised from the book sale will be donated back into the local community.
“Our sincere thanks to all in our community for their generous donations and we look forward to sharing browsing time with our Book Sale devotees.
Congratulations to the Hastings Co-operative on achieving such a remarkable business milestone.”
