A man has been charged after allegedly stealing over $13,500 worth of protein milk powder from a factory near Kempsey.

The 35 year old man allegedly entered a factory site on Rawson Street in Smithtown at 2.30am on Sunday October 9.
According to police, the man took four bags containing protein milk powder, with a combined estimated value of $13,670.
Officers from Mid North Coast Local Area Command were notified of the missing bags of protein and commenced an investigation.
A 35 year old man was arrested at a home on South West Rocks Road in Kempsey at 1.30pm yesterday Thursday October 13.
The man was taken to Kempsey Police Station where he was charged with break, enter and steal, and entering prescribed premises of any person without lawful excuse.
The man was granted conditional bail and will appear at Kempsey Local Court on 14 November.
