She is nine years old and just needs someone with room in their heart to give her the extra care she needs.
Daisy was a stray from the pound that wasn’t reclaimed and deserves a second chance at enjoying life with a caring family on a permanent bases.
She is in good health despite some arthritic issues that can be controlled with vetinary care throughout the year.
She loves to be with company and would appreciate an super soft padded bed beside yours so she can be comfortable and know you are nearby.
Daisy can be strong on the lead initially, but she soon settles and will walk nicely beside you.
She won’t need daily exercise but gentle walks a couple of times a week will keep her fit and happy.
Daisy behaves around other dogs as long as they don’t jump up at her. After all, who could blame her for not liking a young whipper snapper yapping in her face.
Daisy cannot be placed on hold so be quick if you think you can give this golden oldie a dream home.
Daisy is desexed, micro-chipped, vet checked, vaccinated, flea treated, wormed, heartworm tested and will cost $100 to adopt.
Daisy has also started a course of injections to treat her arthritis.
The RSPCA reminds pet owners be check pets daily for ticks. Port Macquarie is a hot spot with September to April the peak months.
CHICKO
Handsome Chicko is a three-year-old blue and white chap that would love to snuggle into a new home where he will be petted and taken care of.
Chicko was surrendered as his previous owner could not care for him any longer.
He has a quiet but loving nature that would suit a mature household.
He may take a little time to settle into his new home, but with patience and time his affectionate nature will blossom.
Chicko tolerates other cats and has lived with dogs before. But as always the RSPCA recommends existing pets be brought to the shelter for introductions before you take an adopted pet home.
Chicko has a laid back attitude to life and is ready to cruise into someone’s heart.
He cannot be placed on hold so be quick before this handsome feline is snapped up.
Chicko is desexed, micro-chipped, vet checked, vaccinated, flea treated, wormed, litter trained and will cost $100 to adopt.
Daisy and Chicko are housed at the RSPCA shelter at 10 Karungi Crescent, Port Macquarie.
