The latest location on the pizza chain’s list is located at the Lighthouse Plaza.
Store owner Leroy Day will open the doors on Monday having already hired 20 new staff members.
H expects to hire at least another 20 in the coming weeks.
“We have a few current staff members coming over to the new store and have employed many other locals,” he said.
“We are looking at employing more people now. Anyone who wants to apply can call into the new store or go online.”
The Lighthouse Beach store has been in the planning for quite some time due to the demand in the area.
“It’s an ever-growing area. It’s a quite dense population and there are not many options for lunch and dinner in Lighthouse Beach,” Mr Day said.
“We’re very happy with the community response. It has been amazing and quite surprising.”
He said it is more than likely that another Domino’s will open in Port Macquarie in the future.
“Down the track I think we will see another store open near Innes Lake or Sovereign Hills, but we will just wait and see,” he said.
The new store will showcase a range of fresh technology including digital menu boards, free customer wifi and new ovens that cook pizzas in three minutes.
“That means we can do pizza pick ups in four minutes and deliveries in 12 minutes to most places in the area,” Mr Day said.
“We have a new modern look, as well as the new food theatre, where you can stand right up against the glass and see your pizza being made.”
There will also be a customer dining area. The store will be open from 11am to 11pm every day.
