The course is in excellent condition and the scores reflected that. There were 129 players.
The game was played over three grades: A grade was won by Neil Hilder with 63 nett, from Neil Jeffcott with nett 67 on a c/b and in third place was David Cairns also with nett 67 on a c/b.
In B grade the winner was Bob Baker with nett 65 on a c/b, runner up was Doug Currey also with nett 65. In third place was Gary Smith with 67 nett.
In C grade the winner was Gary Hinson with nett 62, runner up was Warren Leece with 67 nett on a c/b, third place Gary Taylor also with 67 nett.
Ian Lavender won the putting competition with 25 putts, this prize is donated by Bill Wagner and Al Muller.
Nearest the pin competition was conducted on holes four and eighteen and an across the field comp on hole seven.
On the fourth, A grade went to Bob Maggs with 3.29m, B grade Neil Jeffcott) with 1.99m and C grade was won by Bill Studeman with 2.02m.
On the eighteenth, A grade went to David Robinson with 0.48m, B grade to Ken Bennett with 1.02m and C grade went to Allan Harris with 1.45m
Across the field comp on the seventh hole was won by Eric Cork with 0.89m
In the ball comp, balls went down to71 nett in A grade, in B grade down to 72 nett c/b and down to 74 nett c/b in C grade. This gave thirty eight players a bonus ball each for the day.
