Cash is an 18-month-old female greyhound cross who has come all the way from Broken Hill to find a family to take care of her just like her friend Rocky from last week, who has now been adopted.
Cash came into RSPCA care as an injured stray after being hit by a car. She took some time to recover from this accident and now, after lots of tender loving care, is ready for her new home. She is easy to walk on a lead and would need a daily walk to maintain her good health.
She will need a well-fenced yard to keep her safe, and will enjoy lying in the sun most of the day. She will also need a selection of toys to play with. Cash has basic obedience and can sit when asked. She can be a bit excitable, but won’t jump up on you.
Cash is desexed, micro-chipped, vet checked, vaccinated, flea treated, wormed, heartworm tested and will cost $300 to adopt.
TOBY
Toby is an 18-month-old American staffie with a short brindle coat. Toby was surrendered to the RSPCA after his previous owner had to move and was unable to take Toby.
Despite his tough looks he is a lovely pup that gets along with everyone - two and four legged. He seems to be fine with cats, but close supervision is recommended. He would best suit a home with older children due to his size and boisterous nature.
He can be strong to walk on lead to start with but with more training he will get better. He seems to be house trained as he keeps his kennel clean, however, a few accidents may happen until he settles into his new home. Toby is desexed, micro-chipped, vet checked, vaccinated, flea treated, wormed, heartworm tested and will cost $300 to adopt.
All pets are housed at the RSPCA shelter, 10 Karungi Crescent, Port Macquarie. The shelter is open six days a week from 10am until 3.30pm, and is closed on Tuesdays and public holidays.
