Bindi is our longest resident having been at the RSPCA for more than five months now. It can’t be fun for to see so many of her feline companions leave the shelter while she stays behind.
This reserved puss has a short tabby coat with a white cravat so her own grooming routine will be adequate with the occasional brush. Bindi is two years old which in cat terms is still very young as many live until they are 15 years or older.
She is social with other felines but does not like to be pounced on. It might take a little time for her to settle in, but once she does, she will be happy to curl up on a bed or a lap during the day. Bindi truly needs a more permanent home as five months is far too long for this lady not to be part of a family. She is desexed, micro-chipped, vet checked, vaccinated, flea treated, wormed, litter trained and will cost $100 to adopt.
RORY
Rory is a handsome little bunny with a sleek white coat. This 18-month-old has a sweet nature. Rory was surrendered as his previous owner had too many animals to care for. He is used to a cuddle and pat and as long as he has a weatherproof hutch, fresh food, water and good quality hay to chew on, he is very happy. Rory is desexed, vet checked, vaccinated and will cost $25 to adopt.
The RSPCA shelter is at 10 Karungi Crescent and is open six days a week from 10am-3.30pm and closed on Tuesdays and public holidays. Telephone number is 6581 0380. All RSPCA animals can be viewed on www.adoptapet.com.au and search for Port Macquarie in the drop down.
