The visit is part of the NSW Country Blitz where the state’s best players will head to regional NSW next week.
During the three-day blitz, players will attend MILO T20 Blast clinics, with the format one of the earliest steps in the Cricket Australia pathway by providing a link from MILO in2CRICKET to junior cricket as a fun, safe and affordable way to begin playing cricket.
Mid North Coast development manager with Cricket NSW Martin Garoni said Thornton and Larkin will be at Laurieton Oval between 9.30am and midday.
“We’ll have about 100-150 kids out on the oval doing activities which will help to promote cricket,” he said.
“I know Camden Haven wants to have an entry-level Twenty20 blast competition similar to that of Port Macquarie which is great for the kids.”
