The school hosted its second annual Upbeat Festival and Colour Run fundraiser and by all accounts it was a raging success.
Hundreds of students converged on to the sports field for a day of activities and entertainment in the name of fundraising for the school and raising awareness about mental health and well-being.
Teacher Penny McKee said the Upbeat Festival is devised by the students for the students and had received great support by Headspace. Performer Phil Jamieson also donated his time to entertain the crowd throughout the day.
The school hopes to raise in excess of $10,000 from the event. The money will be used for school resources while a donation will be made to Headspace and a local charity.
