Local Rotarians are hosting an obstacle course relay challenge on Saturday September 24, that will see participants of all ages test their strength, endurance and fitness as they manoeuvre a variety of obstacles and pass on the baton to their team members to see who will be winners on the day.
Teams consisting of four individuals will compete in various age groups from 10 years and under through to 50+ years.
There will also be categories for family team, Sports Code challenge men and sports code challenge woman.
Each team will be timed with the best times moving forward into the next heat, semi and finals. Winning teams will be presented with a prize donated by local businesses.
Team registration is $100 and for more information and registration email a4wh@sunrise-rotary.org.au. A registration form with payment details will be forwarded to you to complete.
Crowds and participants will be treated on the day with fabulous music from local band “Knackered”.
This challenge has been organised by the combined Rotary Clubs of Port Macquarie, Port Macquarie West, Port Macquarie Sunrise, Laurieton and Wauchope to raise funds for Australians for Women’s’ Health, a charitable foundation setup by local specialist Gynaecologist Obstetrician, Dr Ray Hodgson.
