The expression of interest process is the first stage in determining who will assume responsibility for the management, operation and promotion of the Port Macquarie Indoor Stadium.
Expressions of interest close on August 4.
Port Macquarie-Hastings director Tricia Bulic said staff would assess submissions during August to determine those companies which would be shortlisted to participate in a more comprehensive tender process.
The successful operator will assume management of the facility early in 2017.
Port Macquarie Indoor Stadium is amid a $7.2 million upgrade.
There will be three new courts, increasing the number of courts to six, multi-purpose and activity rooms, a kiosk, offices and amenities.
The improved facilities will allow the region to showcase local, state and national talent.
