HOT DOGS
Braddon coffee collective Barrio will open for a special school holidays evening of hot dogs on Thursday, July 7. They're kicking things off at the child-friendly time of 5pm and will be open until the hot dogs run out.
There will be four different hot dogs available - chicken, spicy Italian pork, a classic frankfurter and a vegetarian option - plus a dog for the children. House chocolate milk will be available, or adults can BYO.
No bookings are required, just turn up on the night.
SAKE SAKE
Underground, Japanese-inspired bar Suke Suke is hosting two sake masterclasses on Tuesday, July 12, with one at 6pm and one at 8pm. Learn about sake and Japanese culture from Kazuhiro Morinaga of Morinokura sake. Tickets are $60 and each sake matched with a cheese. Book at sukesuke.com.au/tickets.
LADIES WHO WINE
The Canberra Fabulous Ladies Wine Soiree is returning to Canberra on July 28. The night will feature wines from Coonawarra's Raidis Estate paired with a five-course dinner.
Emma Raidis, one half of the talent behind Raidis Estate, will be there to chat about everything behind the wine.

BANQUET FRANCAIS
Bungendore French restaurant Le Tres Bon is celebrating France's national day with a special four-course set dinner.
For the July 14 event, chef Christophe Gregoire will prepare tarte flambee alsacienne, French onion soup, beef daube, potato puree and truffle, and crepes suzette. He will also be joined in the kitchen by two French students who are on a three-month training visit to Australia, under the guidance of Gregoire.
