Port Macquarie's Anna Gleeson and Laurieton's Kobie Knight have made the side for the series over the weekend of September 3 and 4.
The duo will take to the park alongside former Port woman Corinne Medlin in the women's 35s team.
It's the second time Gleeson will make an appearance for NSW. She will be able to give Knight an insight into state selection ahead of her first match in the sky blue.
Gleeson played in the women's 30s team four years ago.
She knows Queensland will be tough to beat.
"Queensland takes things pretty seriously," Gleeson said.
"We haven't had a lot of success in our division over the past few series."
Gleeson and Knight trialled for the team at Penrith last weekend.
Conditions made it difficult to get comfortable on the field.
"It was cold, then it was hot," Knight said.
Selectors keep their eyes on prospective talent over two seasons of touch footy.
Circumstances beyond Knight's control kept her out of the team the last time she trialled.
She made the cut, but was stuck in Bali for the series thanks to cancelled flights because of a volcanic eruption.
"I'm stoked," she said, referring to another chance to play.
It will be a step up in level for the country-based women, who will play against plenty of metropolitan talent.
Those metro players have access to higher quality competition week in, week out.
The pair will have added incentive to stay fit after the tournament, with some big things coming up for touch players.
"It's a great incentive to get fit for the State Cup in December in Port," Gleeson said.
