The kiosk at Town Beach will officially open its doors on Monday.
The couple set about turning the vision into a reality after Port Macquarie-Hastings Council awarded the kiosk tender.
Mr Harris said Salty Crew Kiosk had a beach feel and a more homely atmosphere than just a shop.
A team of about 10 staff is on board.
"This vision is from our travels and the areas we've lived, and bringing something like that to Port Macquarie," Mrs Harris said.
“To see it come together is just amazing.”
Mayor Peter Besseling said the result was fantastic.
“It really complements what is the most beautiful place on earth,” he said.
“I think it has been done tastefully and in keeping with a healthy outdoor lifestyle that we enjoy.”
The kiosk is one component of the Marine Rescue and Town Beach kiosk building upgrade.
Marine Rescue Port Macquarie hopes to start the fit-out of its portion of the building by next week.
The work will take about two months to complete.
