PORT Macquarie Magpies co-captain Craig Dicker doesn't believe there is any risk of the Magpies taking their foot off the pedal tomorrow.
The Pies return home after back-to-back victories on the road over last year's North Coast premiers and the Northern Rivers' best.
But the real challenge for their season could come in the form of Grafton Tigers who have lost each of their first three games by more than a hundred points.
Port Macquarie had last week off and while there is a risk it could have interrupted any momentum they started in the first three weeks, Dicker didn't feel it would be the case.
"I think the boys are keen to get out there considering we had a rest and the boys are keen to get stuck in again," he said.
"I don't think the foot will be coming off at all," he said.
Dicker remained wary of the Tigers who have kicked just 16 goals and conceded a whopping 77.
"I think they've been struggling a bit this year, it's a long trip down from Grafton and history says they don't always travel that well down here but I'm not saying that's going to happen this week," he said.
"Hopefully they bring a decent side and we get a decent hit out but we'll have to wait and see."
Scoring goals hasn't been a problem for the Pies who have kicked 44 despite a changeover of players from last year and Dicker said they were high on confidence and looking forward to returning to Wayne Richards Park.
"I don't know what the secret is to our start, but we've had a bit of good luck I suppose and the boys are playing well," he said.
