Mid North Coast crime prevention officer Senior Constable, Steve Cherry, said cleaners found two tags and explicit language spray painted on walls of the school on Ocean Drive.
"It happened some time between the 8th and the 20th of April in the school holidays. The cleaners came in to find the defaced property. The graffiti looks like something kids would do, but you can't be sure," he said.
Although Mid North Coast Police are unsure of the exact time and date the offence took place, they hoped someone from the public could assist the investigation.
"We did have a graffiti problem in Port Macquarie as a whole, but that all dried up a few months ago - touch wood. Graffiti will not be tolerated and we take this very seriously," he said.
Police would like to hear any information from the public in relation to the school damage. If you can assist call Crimestoppers on 1800 333 000 or Port Macquarie Police Station on 6583 0199.
