A THREE-year-old child discovered walking alone down Gordon Street at 4am on Saturday has resulted in police discovering a hydroponic drug set-up at a Port Macquarie home.

At 4am Saturday, police were called to Gordon Street where they found the toddler wandering down the street wearing only a nappy.
Enquiries lead police to a home nearby where two of the child's siblings, a 16-year-old and 18-year-old were present.
While searching for another child, an eight-year-old sibling, police located an extensive hydroponic cannabis system in one of the rooms of the house. Seventeen 17 cannabis plants, 300gms of cannabis, an unregistered firearm and a prohibited weapon (a crossbow) were seized.
Crime scene attended the home and assessed the scene. Police allege the home was in a putrid state, with no food in the kitchen and only a carton of milk and two pieces of watermelon in the fridge.
Family and Community Services were contacted.
At 4.45pm on Saturday, the 39-year-old mother of the children attended Port Macquarie Police Station.
She was charged with taking action that results in health/physical damage and taking part in cultivating a prohibited drug.
She was bailed to appear in Port Macquarie Local Court on April 6.
Further enquiries by police revealed the eight-year-old boy was with his father at the time.
Wauchope break-ins arrest
At 8.30pm on Sunday, a locally-based SPG dog handler and his police dog arrested a 28-year-old Wauchope man in Bain Street Wauchope.
The male had a revocation of parole warrant issued by the Parole Board on March 11.
Police approached the male in Bain Street and when told to stop the accused has allegedly turned and run.
After a short foot pursuit through several yards and fences the male was arrested. Upon being searched police located a mobile phone and a key fob.
He was conveyed to the Port Macquarie Police Station where he was charged with nine offences committed in Wauchope since March 11. They include two counts of aggravated break and enter, break and enter, commit serious Indictable offence in dwelling, two counts of stealing, two counts of goods in custody and trespassing plus the warrant.
He was bail refused to appear in Port Macquarie Local Court on Monday.
