A witness said a JR Richards truck hit the lines with a bin above Milton Circuit about 1pm.
"There was smoke and cracking noises coming from the wires," the witness, who wished to remain anonymous because he works nearby, said.
"[The driver is] a bloody lucky fella to get out of there alright."
A staff member at Miedecke Autobody Repairs said the business had power at 4pm, but was having "some issues" with their computers.
An Essential Energy spokeswoman said all customers except one had supply at 1.30pm, when the company's staff were on the ground working to fix the problem.
"Our crews attended and were able to get power back on to the majority of businesses in Milton Circuit very quickly, with a few businesses not having full supply restored until after 2pm," she said.
It was only a "very minor" incident where the driver "just tapped" the power lines, a JR Richards spokesman said, details that were confirmed by Essential Energy.
The driver was fine and did not require treatment, the JR Richards spokesman also said.
