Those tertiary institutions which have campuses in the region come together each year to offer information on course availability and advise students on accommodation options and other activities.
This touring University Roadshow has visited dozens of school in the past 12 years offering a wealth of information on life as a student at a regional university, as well as details on what paths they can take to pursue their dream career.
By joining forces on the roadshow, Southern Cross University (SCU), Charles Sturt University (CSU) and the University of New England (UNE) are able to provide students with a variety of options and reduce the amount of time students need to be away from the classroom.
SCU student recruitment officer Ellen Fleeton said the representatives from the three universities provide a range of information.
"Making decisions on where and what to study can be daunting," Ms Fleeton said.
"We also want to make students aware that there are pathways into university study, even if their HSC results are not what they were hoping for."
The Roadshow will be at Camden Haven High School from 11.30am until 12.30pm on Wednesday, February 10; Port Macquarie Campus of Hastings Secondary College from 9.30am until 10.20am on Thursday, February 11; MacKillop College from noon until 12.50pm; and St Joseph's Regional College from 1.50pm until 2.50pm.
On Friday, February 12 the students at Wauchope High School will benefit from the university representatives visiting them at 9am followed by St Paul's College Kempsey students from 1.30pm.
