Jones is currently on the injured list, while O'Riordan is still getting accustomed to an Australian summer.
The players put the juniors through their paces with various kicking and catching drills at Wayne Richards Park.
Jones said he had noticed a significant shift towards Aussie rules in playing numbers since his last visit to Port Macquarie two years ago.
"I came here two years ago and there's no doubt the game has grown in that time," he said.
"We're building the profile of the game and the best way to do that is through visits to regional areas and by encouraging younger kids to pick up a footy."
