Jubelin, who is 17, shot a four over par round of 76 around the tight Tuncurry course last Sunday to win the Open Championship by one shot and the Junior Championship by four shots.
His round looked like being a lot better bur he took bogey at the 17th hole before making double bogey at the final hole.
Jubelin drove the ball well off the tee, missing just one fairway, but it was his short game that was his strength as he hit less than half the greens in regulation, but he chipped extremely well.
Playing on his home course, Brad German was the Open Championship runner up just one shot behind Jubelin, while Reed Brown of Wingham was the runner up in the Junior event, three shots behind Jubelin.
Jubelin is the current Junior Champion of Port Macquarie Golf Club, a title that he has won twice. He has turned out to be the reverse of Sampson.
Jubelin is one of a number of youngsters who have benefited from Port Macquarie Golf Club's junior program.
