Margo Prowse and Laraine Hillier each made 38 points to be second and third respectively. Grahame Gunn won a countback to take out the men's section with 37 points. Derek Napier also made 37 points and Kevin Silver was third with36 points.
The ball competition for the men went to 35 points and for the ladies to 31, both on countbacks.
The nearest to the pins were won by Adri Fouche, Barry Prowse, Jonathon Hingston and Linda Castle.
The semi finals of the Roger and Heather Dulhunty knockout were also played on the same day and both went right to the wire.
Stuart Rayner and Debra Scott beat the 2007 winners Graham and Robyn Linn at the last hole. The other match was square at the turn but Greg Clark and Marion Horton got to a two holes lead when they won the 15th hole.
However their opponents, Gordon and Van Hayes fought back by winning the 17th hole but the last hole was squared for Clark and Horton to win one up.
The Dulhunty knockout is Port Macquarie Golf Club's mixed fourball knockout and is sponsored by the family of the late Roger and Heather Dulhunty. Roger Dulhunty was a director, vice president and Patron of the club.
