In the Hastings a climate march has been organised on Saturday and all Port Macquarie-Hastings residents are encouraged to join the march at 11am at Westport Park. A rally will then follow on Town Green.
President Harry Creamer said the eyes of the world would be on Paris next month as part of the UN climate talks so it was important for people worldwide to start making themselves heard.
"The eyes of the world will be focussed on Paris so it is essential we have a binding agreement reached to help reduce carbon emissions worldwide," he said.
"Every decade has been warmer and this has consequences for our planet because planting trees is not good enough.
"2014 was the hottest year on record and 2015 is heading up towards beating that record."
CCA spokesperson Kerri-Ann Jones said it is essential that leaders take a clear message to Paris.
"We expect effective action to address this most serious of global issues, climate destabilisation, because it will affect every aspect of our lives. Australia's leaders are dragging their feet, so this is our chance to show the world that Australians are ready to play our part in tackling global warming.
"This is our opportunity to be part of a broad and diverse coalition at People's Climate Marches around Australia with the goal of creating the largest mobilisation the world has ever seen.
"We encourage all marchers to wear bright clothes and bring a banner or placard to show the community that a safe climate and clean energy is the way to go."
