Saturday will see the second innings of the two dayers played and on Sunday many will gear up once again to play in the Interdistrict competition.
Hastings XI will travel south to take on Taree in the representative fixture.
The first of the four game of the series was penned in for a fortnight ago when Hastings were to meet Kempsey but the game was washed out.
The team skippered by Josh Hyde are confident of a win but also defending their title from 12 months ago.
“We’ve got a really good team,” Hyde said.
“Three of our top players are unavailable for it but even without them I’m pretty happy with the side we’ve got.”
Despite that Hyde said he was still wary of Taree.
“They have a couple of handy players and a good opening bowler.”
He said his side was full of bowling strike power.
“We have a very solid bowling line up but at the same time just about everyone can bat when needed,” Hyde said.
