The president's team won 28 matches to 26 to retain the shield won last year.
The fourball best ball went to Stefan Walker and Josh James with 48 stableford points after they beat Norm Halling and Darrin Cowan on a countback.
James (eight handicap) and Walker (three) had 26 points out and 22 home. Walker had three birdies on the front nine and James had one.
The pair had a scratch score of 41 points and Walker's round was two under par.
Halling and Cowan also had a great front nine, going out with 27 points, but could manage only 21 around the back. Their first seven holes was made up of two birdies and five pars for one better than threes.
The pair shared the work load evenly.
Greg Latimer and David Neville finished third with 47 points. They had 23 out and 24 home and Latimer was on the card 12 times.
The fourth hole was a problem hole for them as they made just one point there.
With the net winners also having the best scratch score, a fourth net prize was given. This went to Brian Somers and Ron Thorncraft with 46 points after they beat two other pairs on a countback.
Somers and Thorncraft had 22 out and 24 home and they failed to score any points at the ninth hole. The two pairs to be counted out were Ed Collins and Peter Tetfong, and Kerry Lewis and Wayne Debenham.
The ball competition went down to 43 points on a countback and the nearest to the pins were won by Ron Callaghan, Blake Cannavo, Gordon McCallum and John Hutchison.
Sunday's medley fourball on National Rugby League grand final day attracted a small field and was won by Brett Martin and Ken Miller with 48 points.
Jo Ireland and Annette Jackson won a countback to be the runners up with 45 points.
The ball competition went down to 43 points and the nearest to the pins were won by Pat Gunn, James Farr, Paul Atkin and Annette Jackson.
The public holiday's weather was more suited to the beach than the golf course, and again only a small field hit off, yet there were a couple of great scores.
Both the men and the women played a single stableford and the winning score in both cases was 43 points.
Sharon Farrell was best of the ladies and the runner up with 38 points was Pat Gunn. For the men Ian Jackson was best and Gavin Roberts made 40 points to be the runner up.
The nearest to the pins went to Nick Ratcliffe, Tim Lloyd, Annette Jackson and Nick Payne.
