Headlined by the very popular Lior, one of Australia’s most successful independent artists, Wildwood was hailed a big success by its brainchild Simon Leigh.
“Two weeks ago it was very wet but today the weather is fantastic,” he said.
“This will be an annual event from now on after running it twice last year.
“I’d love to grow this as a really fun, safe and family-friendly event just as today is.”
There was plenty of food and drinks available, jumping castles for the kids and of course top quality music performed by both Port Macquarie and other Australian artists.
“It’s fantastic to have something to call my own,” Mr Leigh said.
“I’m thankful for all of the support and how the community has embraced the event.
“Cassegrains is a great venue run by great people and we have had a wonderful reception from all.”
Other artists who performed yesterday included Lenox Lust, Laura Bell and Jordan Mill.
“It’s the most beautiful day and days like this are so chilled,” said Jordan Mill.
“Most of the time it’s a bit of work to perform at an event, but this is just a lot of fun so credit must go to the organisers.”
