Pedestrian knocked over in CBD
Police NSW Port Macquarie duty officer Inspector Paul Fuller confirmed an elderly gentleman was hit by a car in Port Macquarie's CBD on Wednesday.

The man was hit on the corner of Clarence and Short streets about 2pm.
The incident closed the intersection to traffic for a short time while NSW Ambulance paramedics treated the the 83-year-old.
The man was taken to hospital as a precaution but had only minor injuries.
Inspector Fuller said it was a low-speed incident which is still under investigation.
