Police at Port Macquarie have identified a man whose body was found on Town Beach on Tuesday morning.

The body of the 77-year-old local man was found by a person walking along the beach shortly before 6am.
At the family’s request, police will not be releasing the man’s name.
Police thank the local community and the media for their assistance.
