Weatherzone meteorologist Guy Dixon said the Group 3 rugby league grand final between the Port Macquarie Sharks and Port City Breakers and the Mid North Coast Rugby grand final between Hastings Valley Vikings and Port Panthers Pirates will be played under mostly clear skies.
"There is the ever-present risk of isolated showers along the coastal fringe throughout the weekend, but it will be generally less than one millimetre," he said.
"By 3pm on Saturday the temperature should be a very pleasant 20 degrees and at 3pm on Sunday conditions will be very similiar with conditions expected to be mostly sunny and around 19 degrees."
He encouraged those making the trip to Oxley Oval and Regional Stadium to pack a light jumper.
"You will mostly just need something to block the wind," he said.
Winds will start out of the west on Saturday morning before switching to a slight sea breeze by the afternoon before a southerly change hit the area by Sunday afternoon.
"It's looking like a very good weekend weatherwise," Mr Dixon said.
"When the southerly change hits on Sunday afternoon winds could be up around the 20 to 25 kilometre an hour mark."
The next best chance of significant rain isn't expected until the middle of next week.
"There is a possible east coast low which could form by the end of next week which could bring an increase of rain with five to 10 millimetres expected."
