Saints' young squad will take on Wallis Lake at Boronia Park at 3pm tomorrow, and the Port team is relishing the chance at the pointy end of the Football Mid North Coast Premier League season.
The likes of Aaron Oppedisano, Paul Galloway, Luke Rogers and Michael Snow went straight from under 15s football to Saturday men's. They were key men in getting Saints back into the Premier League two seasons ago.
"That's a big thing for us," Team manager Mark Rogers who is Luke's father said.
"They didn't play in the squad which got relegated, but they got us back in the Premier League.
Saints had a golden opportunity to play finals football last year, but were beaten in the last round by Wingham.
"We blew it, basically," Rogers said.
The Saints finished fifth in 2014. They came third this time around, and Lake wrapped up second spot.
Minor premier Camden Haven bagged the weekend off.
A road trip to Forster doesn't faze Saints.
"It's a good surface. We like playing there," Rogers said.
"The football's good. They're a good football team."
The team looked sharp on Tuesday night at training.
"Nothing different to what you would expect at this time of the season," Rogers said.
