The assault on local control reflected in instances such as overturning council’s bulky goods rezoning decision on John Oxley Drive (with little consideration of the overall traffic network impact) and also the Plaza Carpark sham (which totally ignores local public interest) is disappointingly interfering with local decision making.
The usurping of local control by the NSW government reflects policies akin to central bureaucrats ignorant of local circumstances and priorities.
