On one night, more than $10,000 was raised for the Student Heart Project devised by three of our very own Charles Sturt University paramedic students.

The project to date has raised a whopping $15,000, all of which is directed into purchasing defibrillators for local community groups.

Not only was it an oustanding community effort on Saturday, it shines a light on some of the exceptional and admirable qualities of young people in our community who are not only forging their own careers, but making a difference in the community in which they live.

Hats off to Jess, Dane and Daniel - you are setting a fine example.
