The Vikings won 60-10 at Coffs Harbour to lock in the club championship for the first time since 2001.
They scored in the first minute of play and were dominant from then on. Vikings led 43-0 at the break.
Waylen Skipps was the first across the line, and it was outstanding.
Skipps received the ball from a Coffs kick with 60 metres between him and the in goal. He sliced through the Snappers, untouched, with some brilliant footwork, to score.
Other tries of the afternoon were team efforts. David Tunstead charged down a box kick in the middle of the field, before the Vikings put the ball through the hands and scored.
Tom Sheaves and Jaiden Myer scored doubles yesterday. Skipps, Tunstead, Robbie Glen, Adam McCormack and Lyndon Gale also bagged tries.
Gale booted six conversions on an outstanding day from the tee.
McCormack showed his nous by playing advantage from a penalty and potting a field goal.
The Vikings left nothing out on the field on Saturday, and are well over a flat spot from earlier this season, according to coach Andrew Kable.
He warned that the job wasn't done yet.
"It's the major semi, the whole thing starts again," Kable said, referring to next weekend's match against the same opposition.
While he was thrilled with his team's performance, Kable was also wary that the Snappers were understrength on Saturday.
"They were missing some key players," he said.
Captain Andrew West had another outstanding game on Saturday.
"He's carving it up," Kable said. McCormack's brother Hamish played the best 80 minutes of his season, and Gale was kicking like he had never stopped.
Gale took the duties back after Josh Hyde's withdrawal thanks to a knee injury.
"I'm wondering why I hadn't given him the opportunity earlier," Kable said. "We certainly don't have a shortage of quality kickers."
Robbie Glen and Ben Pursell had great games. Pursell was fresh off the plane from New Zealand.
Glen Littler was brought off due to some concerns over a hamstring problem. Littler's health was the only injury worry for Vikings on Saturday.
Tom Hetherington has headed overseas, and won't be back until grand final weekend.
"Hopefully we can do the job and give Ducky the opportunity to play again this season," Kable said.
The reserve grade team continued its strong run to win 33-0.
The major semi finals in all grades are on at Oxley Oval next Saturday.
The big day gets underway with the under 14s at 9.45am. Six games are scheduled.
