A win for the Sharks and Lank Bain Complex would complete the feat, but the Blues will be out to knock the Sharks off and, in the process, secure second spot on the ladder.
They have plenty of men capable of doing that, too.
Justin Laurie is, according to his opposite number Matt Shipway, the Blues' best player. Shipway has plenty of respect for his opposing captain.
Aaron Ison is also strong in the halves, and can be a real threat on his day.
Home ground advantage adds plenty to the Blues, too.
"They'll be tough, especially out there," Shipway said.
Shipway is preparing the Sharks as if it's a semi final. They want to start well and be on their game the whole afternoon.
"We're not going out there to let Wauchope dictate the game early," he said.
Some Sharks are under injury clouds heading into the match.
Tom Maguire, David Geary and James Kelly were in some doubt.
"If it was a semi final, they would play," Shipway said.
"But we don't want to risk it."
