Premiership winning Parramatta Eel Brett Kenny will join rugby league hard man Peter Tunks at the Bonny Hills Beach Hotel on Saturday in what's set to be a great night.
The pair will exchange stories from the great days of rugby league. Kenny won three consecutive grand finals in the early 1980s, and was also on the invincibles Kangaroo tour in which the Australians were undefeated.
Tunks was twice voted best prop in the world in the 80s.
He played for South Sydney Rabbitohs, Canterbury Bulldogs and Penrith Panthers, along with English clubs.
Tunks can be heard on the Talkin Sport program on the Super Radio Network.
Tickets for Saturday are $20 which includes a free beer, wine or soft drink.
Lake Cathie Junior Rugby League Football Club president Brad Pilon couldn't wait to have the pair in town.
He said the Men of League, which supports former players through hardships after footy, was quick to get on board when the idea of a fundraiser for his club was floated.
There will be some league memorabilia auctioned on the night, including Ben Barba's boot and a NSW jersey and ball.
"It's going to be a great night," Pilon said.
