The Vikings will sell their jerseys from the match against Coffs Harbour Snappers on June 6 to help out Headspace, an initiative which helps out youngsters in need of some support.
There will also be in information table at Oxley Oval for anyone who might be in need of Headspace and its services.
Vikings juniors will rattle donation tins on the day, accepting any cash for the cause.
Vikings president David Barnes was only too happy to get behind Headspace.
He and club patron, wheelchair rugby star Ryley Batt, are headspace ambassadors.
The Vikings' committee chose a cause which had the potential to be close to a lot of its club members' hearts.
"We only see our juniors on Tuesdays, Thursdays and Saturdays," Barnes said.
"And they're always busy playing football on those days. You wouldn't know what they were going through."
The Vikings will head across town to take on Port Macquarie Pirates at Stuart Park on Saturday in the biggest rivalry getting around in the Hastings and we'll have plenty on the big match.
