There are nine other summits which will all be hosted in cities, but the gathering at the Glasshouse will focus specifically on domestic violence issues in rural and regional areas.
Participants will hear about strategies from international speakers, including West Virginia University's Professor Walter DeKeseredy.
The sociologist is the director of the Research Center on Violence and has written 19 books on violence against women.
The leading work by the area's Domestic and Family Violence Specialist Service has put the Hastings on the radar of white Ribbon Australia and other advocates.
Mayor Peter Besseling, who became a White Ribbon Ambassador in 2008, will lead the charge at the day-long event.
The theme is 'violence against women is a man's issue too: Building community and national action to prevent men's violence against women.
