Some travelled from Melbourne while others flew out from England.
Mrs Turner's grand daughter Nicole Gillan organised the celebration and said the effort for everyone to be in Port Macquarie was a huge surprise for her nan.
"It's just great to have everyone come here for nan," she said.
"It was a bit difficult to get everything done on time and get people out here but that's what you do for family."
In a couple of weeks the family will have another reason to celebrate when Irene and husband Denis share their 70th wedding anniversary on June 2.
"We're really looking forward to it," she said.
"I've got nan to her 91st birthday so the next goal is to get her to her 70th wedding anniversary and then try to get her to the century."
Mr and Mrs Turner met more than 70 years ago in 1939 while working at a Cadbury factory in Bournville.
"I was just working there and then Denis came over and told me he was going to take me out that night," Mrs Turner said.
"So you could say the secret to my longevity is eating a lot of chocolate."
Denis believed he had played a part in Irene heading into the 90s.
"The secret is living with a good chap like myself," he said.
Mrs Turner said she was looking forward to the "free meal" and a "few glasses of wine" for her birthday.
"We'll probably have a wine or two," she said. "It means a lot to have the whole family here."
